All students must have their hair securely fastened away from their face.  Ballet students must wear a tight bun if possible.  Dancers with short hair are required to pin loose hair back and away from their faces. 

Female ballet dancers are required to wear a plain leotard (any color) with pink tights and pink ballet slippers.  No skirts or leotards with ruffles will be allowed. 

Male dancers are required to wear black dance pants, dance shorts or men’s tights with a tight fitting shirt.  All shoes for the male dancers must be black. 

Female tap and jazz students are required to dress in tights and leotards.  Dance pants, dance shorts, dance Capri’s, and tight fitting t-shirts are optional.  The color of the shoes is either tan or black – depending on which level of class the student is in.  Contact the dance studio for information on your specific class. 

Hip Hop students may wear a hip hop dance pant or any loose pant that allows the body to move freely.  If a leotard is not worn, the shirt must be tight fitting.  All hip hop shoes are black. 

Lyrical dancers are required to wear tights and leotards.  Skirts, dance pants, dance Capri's and dance shorts are optional.  All lyrical shoes are tan – but the style varies depending on your level placement.
